Riverlea Cottage Quilts was established in 1989 by Lyn Uppill in her farmhouse at Salter Springs. The shop moved to Unley in 1993 and has since expanded taking up an adjoining shop (which is now the gallery) and workroom where classes are held during school terms.
The
shop boasts 4000 + bolts of fabric and caters for all tastes and arguably has the best
range of quilting fabrics in South Australia. You can browse through the shop and choose
from the wonderful brights of Jan Mullen and Mary Lou Weidmann or fabulous batiks, through
to an extensive range of African, Japanese and Reproduction prints and of course the ever
popular country favorites.
Even if you are just visiting Adelaide, South Australia make sure you put Riverlea Cottage Quilts on your itinerary. If you aren't planning a trip ring or e-mail us, we will gladly cater to mail order if you can't make it to the shop.
We aim to update the web site once a month so you can be sure that there will be up-to-date information about what's new at Riverlea. You can also join the Riverlea List through Yahoo Groups to receive a regular newsletters and Class Lists as soon as they are released.
